Sonnen joins WSOF broadcast team
Chael Sonnen: “I am stoked to join the powerhouse team at WSOF, and call their fights that feature some of the best mixed martial artists on the planet.”

Although Chael Sonnen has been suspended from competing in mixed martial arts, it hasn’t stopped him keeping a busy schedule. Sonnen currently runs his own podcast, has competed in professional jiu-jitsu, and will now join the broadcast team for the World Series of Fighting:
Retired UFC fighter Chael Sonnen will join Todd Harris at the broadcast booth for this month’s WSOF 23: Gaethje vs. Palomino and other upcoming events, the promotion announced Tuesday.
Sonnen, no stranger to the promotion game, temporarily steps in for UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten, who is unavailable for the Sept. 18 event due to his duties as an analyst for AXS TV.
WSOF 23 takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix. The event’s main card, which features a rematch between reigning champ Justin Gaethje and Luis Palomino, airs live on NBC Sports Network following prelims on MMAjunkie.com.
I am stoked to join the powerhouse team at WSOF, and call their fights that feature some of the best mixed martial artists on the planet, stated Sonnen in a prepared release. WSOF has done an outstanding job of building their organization into a top-tier franchise in a very short span of time, and I am just proud to be a part of such a fast-growing company.
