Anderson Silva lost a decision on the score cards to Michael Bisping in the UFC Fight Night 84 main event, but if you looked at two, you would have though Silva won the fight.
Silva also thought he ended the fight as the third round closed landing a big flying knee that dropped Bisping, but the referee had never called the end and it continued.
Now Silva and his team are asking for a rematch in his home territory this time:
The former UFC middleweight kingpin lost to Bisping via unanimous decision at the O2 Arena in London, suffering his first decision loss since 2000. After the decision was read, Silva called it “total corruption”, and his manager suggests an immediate rematch in Brazil.
“(Bisping) did show a lot of heart. Hats off to him,” Ed Soares posted on his Instagram. “I don’t agree with the decision but tell me what you think of this solution. Rematch in Brazil, if (Silva wins) we have the trilogy in Vegas?”
