Silva: I’m just tired of hearing lies and false accusations

Anderson Silva will still be known as one of the greatest fighters ever, but his legacy has been a bit tarnished since testing positive for banned substance following his UFC 183 win over Nick Diaz. Silva recently took to Instagram with a long statement on his current situation and to address those fans and media putting out what he called ‘lies and false accusations’:
I apologize to my followers and my fans who give me strength and that are critical in an attempt to help me, not put me down, Silva said. I do not want you to think I’m being rude to you. I’m just tired of hearing lies and false accusations . I do not live in a glass case, I am not holy and never called myself the best. I have always done what I love in truth.
