If Anderson Silva was a boiling pot, I think he may have just blown his lid from the pressure at tonight’s UFC 148 weigh-in event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That’s because he chin checked Chael Sonnen, his opponent tomorrow night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and arch rival who has stopped at nothing to get under “The Spider’s” skin.
Apparently it’s worked.
Word around the water cooler is that Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) Executive Director Keith Kizer did not bear witness to the incident, though a reported 8,000+ inside the arena saw it clear as day on the big screen. There’s also the video evidence, which you can view after the jump, of which Kizer has said he will take a look at to determine whether or not Silva will face a fine for his actions.
