Silat vs Wing Chun in Thailand; BJJ wins

The modern sport of Mixed Martial Arts was explicity created to pit various styles of martial arts against the other, with the object of determining the world’s best. Although the sport has progessed far beyond that intial goal, style vs. style contests do occasionaly come up.

For example, at recent Naku Lords of the Ring amateur MMA event in Thailand, a Silat stylist faced a Wing Chun man. The result was a curious mix of theatrics and light scrapping, with some BJJ throw in for effect.
