Showtime exec denies Mayweather and McGregor shared plane
Stephen Espinoza: Reports of Mayweather and McGregor sharing planes are false.
There were multiple reports that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather shared a private jet together, which would seem to indicate that the heat between the two was manufactured. However, The UnderGround’s Jonathan Shrager interviewed executive VP of Showtime Sports Stephen Espinoza who said categorically that, “reports of Mayweather and McGregor sharing planes are false.”
Shrager also spoke with Espinoza regarding his increasingly prominent role during the press tour, the origins of the spat with Conor McGregor, his public war of words with Dana White, the authenticity of the matchup, and much more.
