Who else but Shonie Carter would ask a surgeon if he could stay awake during an operation so he could record it?

When doctors informed Shonie Mr. International Carter that he would need a subcutaneous neural polyp removed, he asked what any normal fighter would.

“Can I video tape it?”

The video request was denied, but Carter, who stayed awake throughout the procedure, was allowed to photograph the proceedings.
