As first reported by Justin Buchholz at Team Alpha Male Radio, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and Antonio Rogerio ‘Little Nog’ Nogueira have verbally agreed to a rematch. The pair fought brilliantly at Pride Critical Countdown on June 26, 2005, with Shogun taking a unanimous decision.

Shogun, and Little Nog, and his twin brother Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira are coaches on The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 4, which for the first time filmed largely in Las Vegas. The season was supposed to feature Shogun and Anderson Silva as opposing coaches, but when the former middleweight champion failed a PED test, he was prohibited form appearing on the show by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Brazil’s Tatame reports that the fight will take place at UFC 190 on August 1, in Rio de Janeiro. UFC womens bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will also reportedly fight Bethe Correia on the card.
