Shogun and Rampage want to fight again
Shogun: “Rampage challenged me some days, weeks ago, on my Instagram account. I would like to say that I will fight him whenever, with UFC’s blessing.”
Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua beat Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the Pride Middleweight Grand Prix Quarterfinals at PRIDE Critical Countdown 2005 on June 26, 2005 in Saitama, Japan. Saturday night, they fought again, and Shogun won again.
In the opening round of the Middleweight Grand Prix, Shogun beat Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson. Now Shogun wants that rematch too.
“Rampage challenged me some days, weeks ago, on my Instagram account,” said Shogun to Ariel Helwani for FOX Sports, via a translator. “I would like to say that I will fight him whenever, with UFC’s blessing, I’ll fight him whenever he wants, anywhere he wants. Just match it up.”
Rampage is game.
