Former National Basketball Association star Shaquille O’Neal has been seen cageside at MMA events since the late 90s. In June of 2009, O’Neal called out Hong Man Choi. At the time of his retirement in June, Shaq reached out to UFC President Dana White to voice his desire to be involved with the promotion in some form or fashion.
Recently, “Shaq” spent a few minutes with the cast of HDNet’s Inside MMA. During the segment, O’Neal discussed the top five former NBA players with whom he’d like to step into the cage.
