Many believe that the most spectacularly absurd human being in martial arts is the musician, philanthropist, environmentalist, animal rights activist, producer, writer, reserve deputy sheriff, 7th-dan black belt in Aikido, and somewhat boyishly handsome action film star, Steven ‘Fritão’ Seagal.

Behold:

Many thought Fritão’s standing was sealed after he claimed to have taught Anderson Silva the front kick. However, Seagal’s antics are eclipsed, handily, by fellow CIA covert operative Frank Dux.

Dux appears on Michael Schiavello‘s The Voice Versus: Frank Dux this Friday at 11 ET (8 PT) on AXS TV.

During the interview Dux reveals not just that Bas Rutten’s liver shot came from him, but that the UFC was actually based on and inspired by him. Plus there is more, including Bruce Lee, Jean-Claude Van Damme, going undefeated in secret underground kumites, and of course his experience with the CIA.

“The first thing is, it was called the Ultimate Fight Challenge,” said O’Sensei Dux. “I was known by Victor Moore as the Ultimate Fighter or the Ultimate Fight Champion. Nobody could beat me – I retired undefeated. I mean truly undefeated.”

“They’re going to call it, to honor me, the way the representative talked to me, they’re going to call it the Ultimate Fight Challenge.”

Seagal is an amateur.
