Joe Schilling will return to the cage at Bellator 139 on June 26 after his loss to Rafael Carvalho at Bellator 136.

I’ll be at American Top Team for three weeks, Schilling said. I’m going to be sparring with Thiago Alves for his fight with Carlos Condit and working a lot with their wrestling team and Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal out there.

Schilling has earned the majority of his professional success in kickboxing. His MMA career, however, has been a rollercoaster of results. He first crossed over in January 2008 and went 1-4 in a nine-month stretch. He didn’t return to the sport until his Bellator MMA debut in November, when he scored a Knockout of the Year candidate against Melvin Manhoef.
