The Times learned exclusively Tuesday that Mike Ciesnolevicz (17-3) will face Tomasz Drwal (15-2) at the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on June 20 at The Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.
Drwal had been rumored for a fight with Eric Schafer on the same card, but The Times confirmed with a source close to Ciesnolevicz that the Miletich Fighting Systems light heavyweight will fight, not Schafer.
Schafer the light heavyweight suffered a rib injury while preparing for the June 20 fight.
