Saffiedine out, Lawler in vs. Ellenberger, at UFC 173
The UFC has announced that Robbie Lawler will be replacing Tarec Saffiedine vs. Jake Ellenberger, at UFC 173 in Las Vegas, NV on May 24.

Jake Ellenberger and Tarec Saffiedine were originally scheduled to fight at UFC Fight Night Singapore in January, but Ellenberger injured his hamstring, and the fight was rescheduled to UFC 172. Now Saffiedine is injured and out of the fight.
The UFC has announced that Robbie Lawler will be replacing Saffiedine, at UFC 173 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 24.
Ellenberger is coming off a loss to Rory MacDonald in July. Lawler is coming off a decision loss to Johny Hendricks for the vacant welterweight title at UFC 171.
