Ruby Rose on Orange Is the New Black to try UFC?

The spread of mixed martial arts into the wider culture continues, with Ronda Rousey slated to play the iconic role of Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse, and now there’s a rumor that the ‘Orange is the New Black’ character Stella Carlin may try to join the UFC on season 4.
The role is played by Australian model, DJ, VJ, recording artist, television presenter, actress and Angelina Jolie/Justin Bieber look alike Ruby Rose Langenheim. Rose is the God daughter of Australian boxer Lionel ‘Slim’ Rose, the first Indigenous Australian to win a world title. She was a big boxing fan, but has now converted to MMA, thanks to Ronda Rousey.

Ruby Rose shared with UFC.com, I was always into boxing. My godfather was a world champ and then I competed in boxing and that was kind of always my be all and end all, but I think Ronda has literally been the single reason why I’ve converted to the UFC.
Rose was one of the many celebrities who extended their support to the Champ via Twitter when Rousey took on Bethe Correia at UFC 190.
Rose who had always been crazy about boxing is now so much into UFC that she even made an appearance as a special guest at a UFC event in Las Vegas.
The Orange is the New Black star also admitted during the interview that she was not to happy about Rousey’s next fight happening in Melbourne on November 14, since the city happens to be her hometown and she probably won’t be able to make it.
I’m so mad,” she said while laughing. “I live in Melbourne for the greater part of 25 years of my life and then I finally move to LA, which is so close to Vegas, and you guys have some of the best fights ever, they’re in Vegas and then she decides to go and have this huge fight in Melbourne. She’s doing it to spite me, clearly.
