The UFC president was candid when asked about the possibility of one last Gracie fight inside the octagon.
“[Royce] thinks that his performance against Matt Hughes wasn’t what not what it could have been, and thinks he can beat Matt Hughes,” White said. “He wants that fight again.”
In an interview this past month with MMAjunkie.com Mike Kogan, Gracie’s manager, was optimistic about the prospect about getting the UFC legend another fight with an opponent he declined to name, and said talks with White and UFC executive Lorenzo Fertitta were ongoing.
“I think we’re going to make a deal,” Kogan said. “We have plenty of time, so there’s really no problems. It’s just a matter of getting it nailed down
