UFC Hall of Famer and current Bellator MMA brand ambassador Royce Gracie appears open to a trilogy fight with UFC Hall of Famer and Bellator MMA heavyweight Ken Shamrock.

Gracie spoke with MMAjunkie before the fight Saturday night, and was told that Shamrock originally wanted to fight him, not Kimbo Slice.

That’s good, said Gracie, smiling. When you’re at the top, everyone wants to fight you.

When he was asked if he would accept a fight with Shamrock, the semi-retired Gracie said Kimbo was the gatekeeper, but said he would take the fight.

“Of course,” said Gracie. Body feels good, not injured, healthy, same weight from 20 years ago, so, yah.”

Gracie, 48, tapped out Shamrock when the pair fought at UFC 1, and had a draw at UFC 5. Gracie has not fought since 2007.
