After an unbeaten amateur run, Colt Toombs will make his professional debut on Thursday night in an undercard bout during a Tachi Palace Fights card in Leemore, Calif.
Toombs is the son of former professional wrestling great “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
A member of Team Quest, the 20-year-old Toombs went 4-0 in amateur competition as a featherweight, winning twice by TKO, once by submission and once by decision. His last amateur bout was last October.
In his pro debut, he’ll face Art Becerra, who is 1-1 and last fought in Sept. 2008.
