Rowdy dedicates UFC 190 fight to Roddy Piper

At UFC 17 on May 15, 1998 at Mobile Civic Center, in Mobile, Alabama, David ‘Tank’ Abbott beat Hugo Duarte. Minutes later he lit up a cigar, and dedicated the win to Frank Sinatra, who had died the day before.
Duarte had been winning, when he went for Juji Gatame, giving Tank the opportunity to do what he does best.
‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper died on Friday, and on Saturday, his namesake, ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey, will fight in the Octagon.
She has already devoted the performance to the WWE Hall of Famer.
