Rousimar Toquinho Palhares was rumored to fight countrymen Alexandre Cacareco Ferreira at UFC Rio, on August 27th, but this fight won’t happen. Sources close to the situation told TATAME today that Palhares fights Dan Miller, who’s coming from a unanimous decision loss to Nate Marquardt, at UFC 128.

Now UFC.com has confirmed it:

“Dan Miller lives up to his motto of ‘anyone, anyplace, anytime’ by stepping up against Rousimar Palhares at UFC 134 after original opponent Alexandre Ferreira pulled out of the fight,” said UFC president Dana White today.
