Ronda Rousey next fights Bethe Correia at UFC 190, and the Brazilian has been very vocal in the media, but Rousey has just used it as motivation to set an example:
UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has heard Bethe Correia’s apology, but Rowdy isn’t buying it, and she’s ready to make that painfully clear.
To bring my family into it, they don’t deserve that, and they didn’t ask for that, Rousey said at a recent media session promoting her UFC 190 bout with Correia. And I need to make sure that nobody else tries that ever again.
Correia later clarified that she wasn’t aware of Rousey’s family history, but Rowdy isn’t buying that claim.
I think that her actually pretending that she didn’t know to save face was just as insulting as what she said in the first place, Rousey said.
