Rousey no.3 top trending person by Google 2015

Today Google released it’s list of top trending people for the year 2015 and Ronda Rousey was the only combat athlete on the list:

The search engine released its list of the top 10 trending people for 2015 and Rousey landed at No. 3 for the entire year.

The list is comprised of people who recorded the highest spikes in web traffic during 2015.

Rousey came in No. 3 overall after becoming one of the biggest crossover stars the sport of mixed martial arts has ever created. Rousey’s year started with a 14-second submission over Cat Zingano, her performance going viral almost immediately after the fight.
