Rousey: Losing is a b!^$#, but revenge is a motherf@$%er

The UFC women’s bantamweight championship was given to Ronda Rousey without a fight, and she seemed invincible in her first six title defenses. She won the last four successful title defenses in exactly 180 seconds, combined. 

Then Rousey lost to Holly Holm; the title changed hands three times in eight months since.

UFC president Dana White has said firmly that when ever Rousey returns, she gets a title shot vs. who ever the champion is at the time. However, there were serious questions about whether Rousey would ever return.

But during an appearance at a conference hosted by Good Morning American anchor Robin Roberts, Rousey was asked a listener question – “What have you not done that you want to do?”

Rousey, 29, waited a moment, before uttering seven words.

“I want to win my belt back,” she said, to raucous applause.

‘Rowdy’ described her current state of mind with a story from her time as a pre teen Judoka. 

“Ear muffs for all the little kids,” began. Rousey “They told me not to swear. But here is my mom’s favorite momism.”

“This is the advice her mom gave me. I was a little pre teen, when she gave this to me. I went to the first Junior Nationals, and I lost my first Junior Nationals to Alexandra Cotton. I ended up fighting her again later. My mom, she like pulls to the side of the mat.

“And she’s like, ‘I’m going to tell you what my coach told me.’ She had lost the French Open, and ended up winning the Worlds later. She said, ‘I’m going to tell you what he told me. Winning is a b*tch, but revenge is a motherf***er.’ You go get her.'”
