UFC 223: Khabib vs. Iaquinta is on April 7, 2018, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. A women’s strawweight championship rematch between the current champion Rose Namajunas and former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk serves as the co-headliner.

Namajunas retained her title via unanimous decision, with all the three judges giving the identical score of 49-46. While Jedrzejczyk was the more active fighter, the judges looked instead at who hurt who more, and liked ‘Thug’ Rose.

While the two had words before their first fight, respect grew between them prior to the rematch, and even more so during the fight. By the end, they were sisters.
