Ronda Rousey picks ‘the next Ronda Rousey’ on TUF 20

UFC president Dana White recently offered a compelling sound bite about The Ultimate Fighter 20.
“You guys are going to be blown away,” said White. “There’s a Ronda Rousey on this season of The Ultimate Fighter, absolutely.”
The term “next Ronda Rousey” however is a subjective. Some fans took it to mean a dominant fighter. Others took it to mean a source of controversy.
At a recent media event in Brazil, Ronda Rousey was asked who she thought the Ronda Rousey was.
“I definitely think it’s Rose Namajunas,” said Rousey as transcribed by Guilherme Cruz for MMAFighting.com. “I called it from the very beginning. As soon as I saw her, I saw this girl is specia. I’ve been following her for two years. I only finally got to meet her. I’ve been stalking her on Instagram for year. It was so great to be able to meet her, and I wish her all the luck. I can’t wait to see how she does in the season.”

In a June interview with FOX Sports, Namajunas did in fact say she can be the 115 lbs. division’s Ronda Rousey.
“I’m the all-around threat,” said Namajunas. “I’ve got the look, I think I’ve got the whole package. I think that I can speak in front of the camera. I think my fighting ability can speak for itself as well. “
“[Rousey] is a polarizing figure. Either you love or hate her. I don’t think anybody is perfect. But I think what she’s done, I admire her for everything.”
