99kg ADCC champion and 4X world champion Rodolfo Vieira has just joined one the best MMA teams in the world, so he can focus on making the transition to MMA

Another Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace will make the jump to MMA as the current ADCC 99kg champion and four times world champion, Rodolfo Vieira, revealed he will be joining American Top Team next year to focus on his mixed martial arts debut.

At 26 years old, Vieira will join the likes of UFC welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler, and other standouts such as Junior dos Santos and Hector Lombard. He says he is excited to begin a new chapter in his life.

“I’m going to Japan and then I’ll be back in Brazil for a surgery. I already talked to Master Ricardo Liborio and by the end of February 2016, I will go to Florida to join American Top Team full time,” Vieira told Tatame. “I have only heard good things about Dan Lambert and ATT. The reason why I chose ATT is because I know I will have all the support and tools I need to accomplish my goals. I’m very excited to begin this new chapter of my life. I will dedicate all my time and energy to be an MMA champion, too.”
