The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Georgia with UFC Fight Night 35: ‘Rockhold vs. Philippou’ live from The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth on January 15, 2014. The card will be headlined by former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold against Costa Philippou.
Both fighters are looking to get back into the winner’s circle after disappointing showings in their last fights. Rockhold was last seen getting knocked out by Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX: ‘Belfort vs. Rockhold’ in Brazil, while Philippou had a underwhelming showing against Francis Carmont at UFC 165 in Toronto, Canada.
