With Michael Bisping fighting Cung Le, Luke Rockhold is looking for a fight against a top-10 fighter, and hopes with will be Vitor Belfort. The pair fought last May, with Belfort winning via highlight reel kick KO.

“Bisping’s not going to come through. I’m sure of that,” said Rockhold as transcribed by David St. Martin. “Who knows? If Vitor can come back or I’ll have to rematch Jacaré. Maybe the winner of Munoz and Mousasi. I’m not looking to take a step back. I want to move forward. I want to get that title shot. I want to beat whoever’s in front of me. Vitor’s my No. 1 pick.”

“I don’t believe anything the guy says and I don’t believe he’s clean. I think he’s been dirty his whole career. I’m going to go out there and say that. Whatever. I’m going to be myself. I’m tired of holding back. I’m going to be real. The real MMA fans know what’s going on and if you believe he’s clean, or anything that comes out of his mouth, I kind of feel sorry for the people that do. I don’t have a lot of respect for the guy.

“I like clean fighters. I like clean sport. I always fight clean and I always have and always will. I don’t have a lot of respect for cheaters.”
