MMAjunkie.com has learned from sources close to the promotion that Massachusetts based Jorge Rivera and Italian slugger Alessio Sakara have verbally agreed to meet at the event.
While not yet officially announced by the organization, UFC 118 is expected to take place on Aug. 28 at Boston’s TD Garden.
Both men are on three fight winning streaks.
