While it might not create quite the stir of a “Cro Cop” for “Big Nog” switch, there is one additional adjustment to the card at UFC 119. Aaron Riley has been scratched from the card, and Brazilian Thiago Tavares has agreed to step in against newcomer Pat Audinwood.
The reason for Riley’s removal from the planned contest wasn’t immediately evident.
Audinwood has been fighting professionally since October 2007, and is undefeated.
Tavares, who’s fought only once in the past year and a half, most recently appeared at UFC Fight Night 20, where a majority draw with Nick Lentz moved his UFC record to 4-3-1 UFC.
