Riggs: Cote was as slippery as an oiled up dong

Patrick Cote beat Joe ‘Diesel’ Riggs by unanimous decision at the top of the undercard at UFC 186 on April 25, 2015, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A disappointed Riggs talked about the loss on his social network.

I’m sorry I didn’t come out on top tonight. Even though I thought I did enough, but we are in Canada. lol Pat fooled me I thought we were going to bang it out tonight. And his sweat was slippery cause i could not walk my legs up his back… But be as it may. Congrats to Patrick Cote. But I am sorry. And as always but as always ALL THE GLORY BE TO GOD! And my brothers that fought both are warriors. And also fought a great fight.

My elbows are so swollen from those elbows. Lol Good fight Patrick Cote. The more I watched it you can’t get mad at any decision on a close fight like that. But Pat’s never been known as a dirty fighter but never in my whole career have I ever lost back mount like that in a fight. Much less two times and it felt like i was trying walk my legs up a slip and slide. Lol But I’m no saint myself. ‘Ive been DQed for taking an oil bath the night before a fight so that when I started to sweat in the baby oil would slowly started coming out of my pores slowly. But the body is dry when they checked before they fight. Lol not saying he did that. But if he didn’t then he’s normally slippery as a oiled up dong!

In a sobering reminder of what is truly important in life, two days after the fight Rigg’s wife Lisa underwent surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

After a long week and a tough fight Saturday night a few hours after I got home, my beautiful wife Lisa Riggs was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery. I nearly lost the love of my life last night. She is stable now. I’m asking everyone to keep her and my kids in their prayers. I will update when we know more. Thank you everyone.
