Rest in Peace Jake Stoneking
When Jake Stoneking’s cancer returned at age 20 it had spread and was incurable. So he made a bucket list that included, at #2, a trip to the UFC.

When Jake Stoneking was 15, he was diagnosed with high-risk medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. The initial course of treatment, which included surgery to remove a rumor in his cerebellum, was successful. However, early this year he learned it had spread, and was incurable.
Jake, then 19, set out to complete a bucket list of activities:
•Riding in a helicopter… Check.
•Hunting a bull elk… Check.
•Visit to Jiggles… Check. You can guess 🙂
Among the items on his list was a trip to the UFC.
The UFC flew Jake and three family members to UFC 171 in Dallas, Texas, where by all accounts he had the time of his life.
Jake Stone died at age 20. I hope he did everything he wanted to. I hope we all do.
