Vincent Morin, the guy who wrote the Yves Lavigne piece that’s causing all sorts of controversy, is the same guy who got David Loiseau’s UFC 113 fight cancelled by accusing him of having ties to the mob.
Loiseau is suing the parent companies (for $500,000) of the publication that this Vincent Morin works for.
The guy evidently didn’t do any research whatsoever before making up the Loiseau story, which did major short-term damage to David’s career in keeping him off of the Montréal UFC card, and it seems like this entire thing was fabricated as well.
And people wonder why MMA journalism gets bashed as being a joke. I dunno, maybe it’s because people like this guy have jobs and zero accountability?
