Report: UFC minimum purse now 10/10

As UGer Taz Styles posted, Toronto-based journalist Adam Martin tweeted that the minimum pay in the UFC has been upped to $10,000 to show and another $10,000 to win.

With the first tier of compensation for Reebok at $2,500, a fighter who goes 2-1 will make a guaranteed $57,500 and a fighter who goes 1-2 will make $47,500. Average then is $52,500. A fighter going 3-0 will get $67,500. An entry level fighter going 0-3 is fired, although can be brought back in if he has a good streak in regional shows.
Making a little over $50,000 is not going to make anyone rich, but is enough to live on, a Godsend for entry level fighters in any other league in the sport.
