Report: Silva failed second test related to UFC 183
Silva was more than likely tested immediately before or after his UFC 183 bout with Nick Diaz, but it’s uncertain at the time if this was that third test.
Apparently Anderson Silva was subject to at least three drug tests in relation to UFC 183. On a January 9th, he failed an out-of-competion test for drostanolone metabolites and androstane, but on January passed a test for human growth hormone as well as performance enhancing drugs. However it seems there is another test that Silva failed, but no details are known yet:

Multiple sources close to the situation on Wednesday confirmed to MMAjunkie that Silva failed a second drug test in relation to UFC 183. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.
