Sources close to the situation have informed FiveKnuckles.com that Gina Carano has left Xtreme Couture and is now training with Jackson’s MMA. No reason was given for the departure from Xtreme Couture.
During the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva event in February, Carano announced her return to MMA. A date or opponent was not mentioned,
Carano took an extended absence following her loss to Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos in April 2000. She appeared on the cover of ESPN the Magazine, was featured in the video game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, and competed as Crush on American Gladiators.
