The UFC’s Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay compensates fighters for wearing Reebok apparel during fight week, media obligations, and compliance with the league fighter code of conduct.
Colloquially known as ‘Reebok pay’ or ‘Reebok money’ the UFC’s Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay compensates fighters for wearing Reebok apparel during fight week, media obligations, and compliance with the league fighter code of conduct. It was formerly known as the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. Fighters receive from $3,500 to $20,000 in a tiered structure based on number of fights, plus $30,000 for title challengers, and $40,000 for the champion.
Of the 26 fighters on the card, eleven received the minimum $3,500 payout. Stefan Stuve led the group with the maximum of $20,000, which is reserved for fighters with 21 or more fights in the UFC or Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2007 on) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce fights (April 2011 on).
