RDA: McGregor would be an easy fight
Now McGregor is set to rematch Diaz at UFC 202, but lightweight champion Dos Anjos is still interested in the fight, and he believes it’s an easy win for him.
The original plan for UFC 196 was Conor McGregor to challenge Rafael Dos Anjos for the lightweight title. When champion Dos Anjos was injured, McGregor famously fought and lost to Nate Diaz.
Now McGregor is set to rematch Diaz at UFC 202, but lightweight champion Dos Anjos is still interested in the fight, and he believes it’s an easy win for him:
Against me … [the finish] should be even earlier, I would hurt that guy, offered dos Anjos. He will get hurt one day, and I think it will not be funny if I say something to him.
If this fight happens down the road I will be there, dos Anjos said. If UFC thinks he deserves a lightweight shot I will be there.
I think money comes and goes. What comes easy, goes easy, and that would be an easy money.
