Rashad Evans might just be the unluckiest guy in MMA.
Twice, in a row, a title shot was just within Evans’ grasp. Then twice, in a row, Evans suffered injuries that put him on the sidelines and out of hard-earned championship contender status.
According to UFC president Dana White, Evans wants to stay busy and will look to take another fight when his injured hand is healed and ready to go.
White also indicated that the light heavyweight title picture starts to get a little muddy – nothing is guaranteed after Lyoto Machida gets his shot at Jon Jones in Dec.
