Rankings Update: Souza the top contender
This past weekend’s UFC Fight Night at Foxwoods featured one key match up in the middleweight division and one in the heavyweight division.

Jacare Souza now sits in the number two spot which effectively makes him the number one contender, as Anderson Silva said he doesn’t want to fight for the title again.
Unfortunately for Souza, Weidman will next defend against Vitor Belfort and Dana White has said he believes Souza will need one more win for a title shot.
