Rankings Update: Johnson moves up big
This past weekend the UFC held UFC Fight Night 61 in Porto Alegro, Brazil. Only a few bouts affected rankings, and the biggest winner was lightweight Michael Johnson.
As they do after each event, the UFC released updated rankings after a select group of media members ranked fighters in every division.

Johnson was previously ranked twelfth and squared off with number sixth ranked Edson Barboza. Barboza was a favorite heading into the fight, but Johnson put on a dominant performance and the with the win took Barboza’s sixth ranking. Barboza dropped to eighth with the loss.
