After each live event, the UFC polls various members of the media to update its rankings in each weight division as well as the pound for pound rankings. 

With only a few meaningful bouts at UFC Fight Night 38, the change most people are interested in was where Dan Henderson would end up.

With the win, Henderson moved up two spots and now occupies the sixth spot in the division rankings. Henderson said post fight that he would like a shot at the title again before retirement, but at sixth he will likely have to beat someone in the top five in impressive fashion to get there.
