Rampage: Shogun owes me a rematch
Rampage: “A lot of people asking who I wanna fight next. I think Shogun owes me a rematch,I should have pulled out of our 1st fight but my pride wouldn’t let me.”

PRIDE never die.
The last time Quinton “Rampage” Jackson lost via KO was over a decade ago, to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, at Pride Total Elimination 2005. He can’t forget.

A lot of people asking who I wanna fight next.. I think Shogun owes me a rematch,I should have pulled out of our 1st fight but my pride wouldn’t let me. I will never fight injured again, this loss still haunts me.
Last year Jackson left the UFC for Bellator MMA, citing a lack of respect from the company. He then expressed a desire to be back with what he termed the devil you know. When Bellator in his estimation failed to meet their contractual obligations, he returned to the UFC.
Then a New Jersey ordered an injunction barring Jackson from a scheduled fight with Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186 on April 25, 2015, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
In a reversal, a New Jersey court lifted the injunction, and the fight went on, with Rampage taking a unanimous decision.
Then Rampage fled for a motion to dismiss, which was denied, so Jackson remains in limbo. Shogun is scheduled to fight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the co-main event of UFC 190 on Aug. 1 in Rio de Janeiro.
So if the rematch happens, it won’t be soon.
