Japan could take a lesson from the freakshow fight put together for the main event of KSW 37 on December 3, in Krakow, Poland.

Mariusz Pudzianowski, 39, is a 320-pound former world’s strongest man, with an MMA record of 9-5 (with one no contest). Career wins include Sean McCorkle, world and Olympic Judo gold medalist Paweł Nastula, and Rolles Gracie Jr. Pudz is a giant, and a real fighter.

‘Popek’ Rak, 37, is a Polish rapper who had three MMA fights in 2008. He beat 0-3 Glen Reid and 1-6 Kev Sims, before losing to Sander Duyvis who went on to go 1-4. Popek Monster’s most notable achievement in mixed martial arts is having the second worst tattoo in MMA history. He also weighs about 90 lbs less than Pudz.

No commission would sanction the fight, but there is no commission so it’s on.

In a further evolution of the freakshow, the press conference was stormed by mock special police brandishing machine guns, who carted The King of Albania away over the laments of his women. The video then cuts to a bloody interrogation show.

Just like PRIDE FC had some of the biggest freakshows in MMA history, and some of the greatest fights, KSW puts on excellent cards. 37: Circus of Pain will doubtless be stacked with talent. And it will have a freakshow main event.

And none of this is to say that the Japanese cannot come back with a bigger freakshow, but it would have to be along the lines of Die Antwoord’s ¥O-LANDI VI$$ER vs. say Gabi Garcia.
