NEW YORK – The Professional Fighters League today announced the signings of three MMA world champions to exclusive PFL contracts. Rizvan Kuniev, Quemuel Ottoni and Manoel Sousa are set to join a roster already made up of the best talent from around the world.

“We are excited to add these elite fighters to our global roster,” said Ray Sefo, president of fighter operations of PFL. “The PFL will put these athletes on the global stage.”

Kuniev, the current Eagle FC heavyweight champion, begins his PFL career with 12 professional wins. Kuniev, proficient in wushu sanda, is a 6-foot-4 knockout artist who will look to power his way to a PFL championship.

Ottoni, the Jungle Fights welterweight champion, is the only man to beat Alex Pereira. The welterweight joins the PFL on a five-fight winning streak, with 12 professional victories.

“Manumito” Sousa, the SFT lightweight champion, will step into the PFL SmartCage undefeated. The 25-year old career record stands at 8-0.

PFL is the first and only MMA league with a true sports-season format where elite fighters from around the world compete in a regular season, playoffs and championship. The four competitors in each division who earn the most points in the regular season advance to the win-or-go-home playoffs, followed by the biggest night in MMA – the PFL World Championship – with each winner going home with the $1 million prize.
