Prayers answered: Snoop Dogg to commentate TNC show
he hardcore fanbase prayed and kept in their thoughts the hope that some glorious day Snoop Dogg might get a commentating gig for an MMA show.

Long Beach, California rapper, actor, and host of the Doggy Fizzle Televizzle series Snoop Dogg (real name Snoop Lion) is a huge mixed martial arts fan. Frequently seen Octagonside at UFC PPV events, Snoop even entered the MMA apparel market as a partner in and briefly president of Serious Pimp. And he won a $20,000 bet with UFC president Dana White prior to UFC 125 when White bet that his hometown Celtics would beat the Lakers in the 2010 NBA Finals.
His unique commentating skills came to light in April, as he narrated a brief highlights clip of light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.
Look at this old man he’s fighting like an old biker, said Snoop Dogg of DC vs. Roy Nelson. Give you a kick straight to your head, move that ponytail looking like Willie Nelson.”

Snoop and little friend Urijah Faber will be doing announcing for the new UFC Fight Pass show Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders. The SnoopCast” will be an alternate to the usual commentary which will feature TBA and TBA, who will forever remain that way because all true fans will listen to the SnoopCast.
“I’m a big fan of UFC and looking forward to joining the team to bring my unique take on all the action,” wrote some dumbass publicist in a press release, trying and failing to sound authentic. “Y’all in for a brand-new experience with Dogg on the mic.”
Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders features five live fights every Tuesday night. The series will run for eight weeks, exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. First show is July 11.
