Wigan, England is known to the hardcore fanbase as the cradle of modern Catch as Catch Can wrestling, via Billy Riley’s Snakepit. Wigan Warriors Rugby League Football Club Prop and Loose Forward Ben Flower was playing St Helens, when Lance Hohaia decided to add a forearm to the game. Fower went all Rough and Tumble, landing a straight right and following up with a GnP.

There is a time and place for everything, but the best place for MMA is not a Rugby pitch.
