A featherweight bout between “The Ultimate Fighter 12” semifinalist Nam Phan and WEC fighter Leonard Garcia is slated for The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale.
Phan, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, is a former Strikeforce and World Victory Road fighter. He moved up a weight class and fought as a lightweight on “TUF 12.”
Garcia will become one of the first WEC fighters to fight in the UFC following the merger of the two organizations.
—
Two quarterfinalists from “The Ultimate Fighter 12,Team GSP’s Cody McKenzie and Team Koscheck’s Aaron Wilkinson.
Prior to “TUF,” McKenzie posted a perfect 11-0 record while fighting throughout the Northeast and Canada. The Alaska native’s past nine wins all have come via his trademark guillotine choke, which he successfully implemented twice on the show.

After a semifinal finish on “The Ultimate Fighter 12,” Kyle Watson now meets castmate Sako Chivitchian.
Watson is the jiu-jitsu instructor at the Illinois-based H.I.T. Squad and an eight-year pro fighter.
Prior to joining “TUF,” Chivitchian earned a Judo black belt and supplemented the competitions with wrestling training and tournaments. The Armenian fighter made a successful pro MMA debut in 1999 but sat out the next decade after suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. He returned to pro competition in early 2009 and since has picked up four more wins to keep his perfect record intact.

Michael Johnson and Jonathan Brookins, who were both part of head coach Georges St-Pierre’s team, won their semifinal fights on tonight’s regular-season “TUF 12” finale.
Prior to joining “TUF,” the Missouri-based fighter posted an 8-4 record in Midwest organizations. He’s won three straight fights in pro competition and four of his past five.
Brookins is one of only two fighters in the WEC who took Aldo past the second round, but he ultimately suffered a third-round TKO loss.
