ORLANDO, Fla. – The Professional Fighters League held official weigh-ins for 2022 PFL Challenger Series 6, featuring up-and-coming fighters in the heavyweight division. 

In the main event, heavy-handed Jamaican Bevon Lewis (7-3) meets Brazilian submission specialist Marcelo Nunes (7-1). The PFL Challenger Series airs exclusively on Fubo Sports Network, the live, free-to-consumer TV network from sports-first live TV streaming platform fuboTV Inc.

Lewis, who came in at 226.6 pounds, will be making his debut in the heavyweight division. He heads into this weekend’s main event having won three of his seven career victories by knockouts. Nunes, meanwhile, came in at 237.4 pounds, and is coming off back-to-back victories. Five of his seven career wins have come by submission. 

In the co-main event, undefeated Brazilian Giacomo Lemos (7-0) faces Billy Swanson (4-2) of the United States. Lemos, who weighed in at 225.4 pounds, owns an impressive 100 percent finish rate, with all of his wins coming by stoppage. Swanson, who weighed in at 265.6 pounds, has won three of his last four bouts, including a pair of first-round finishes.

Also on the card, Israel’s Adam Keresh (4-0) goes head to head with Chad Johnson (6-3) of the United States. Keresh, who tipped the scales at 237 pounds, is unbeaten in four professional bouts. Johnson, who tipped the scales at 223.2 pounds, has six career wins, all of them coming by way of knockout. 

Opening the card will be a matchup between American up-and-comers Daiqwon Buckley and Jon Cunningham. Buckley, who weighed in at 262.6 pounds, is 1-0 in his professional career. Cunningham, who weighed-in at 230.8-pounds, is also 1-0 in his MMA career, having transitioned from a career in the NFL.
