Today the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the official results, including medical suspensions for this past weekend’s UFC 181 in Las Vegas. The suspensions for the five main card PPV bouts are listed below:

Johny Hendricks: Suspend until 1/6/15, no contact until 12/28/14

Pettis: Must have left hand x-rayed, if positive then needs doctor clearance or no contest until 6/6/15.

Brendan Schaub: Suspend until 2/5/15, no contact until 1/21/15; upper lip laceration

Anthony Hamilton: Suspend until 1/21/15, no contact until 1/6/15; forehead laceration

Todd Duffee: Suspend until 1/6/15, on contact until 12/28/14; forehead laceration

Abel Trujillo: Must have fractured nose cleared or no contest until 6/6/15, minimum suspension no contest till 1/6/15, no contact until 12/2/14

Tony Ferguson: Suspend until 1/21/15, no contact until 1/6/15; right forehead laceration

Note that the suspensions are precautionary and can be cleared by the appropriate doctor. In Pettis’ case he would be out for six months only if he doesn’t provide a negative hand x-ray and doctor’s permission to return. Pettis may not have an injury to his hand at all, but the commission always and rightly so proceeds on the side of caution.

Update: Anthony Pettis posted on Twitter that his hand was fine so likely he will clear the suspension early and be able to fight on a regular schedule:
